Tappets are like feet for your push rods. They sit between the camshaft and the push rods, and over time are prone to wear, so might need replacing. A tell-tale sign of this is an extra "tinging" noise in the engine.
If your tappets have worn unevenly, this could be a sign of other problems. Please contact our engineering support team for more info in locating the fault.

Replacement tappet delivered promptly, well wrapped. Fitted perfectly, all my questions swiftly answered. Also, I feel there will be more questions, but I'm sure they will be adequately addressed. No problems with this company, unlike the makers of my ongoing project, in 4 months they have yet to respond to any of my queries.
