New coil did the trick had to alter flywheel cover no problem and service and delivery to New Zealand brilliant (5days).

There are 2 different coils for these generators,mine has the coil you cannot seem to find anywhere,mine has the digital readout on the front instead of the analog meter,seems they forgot about this one. The generator guru coil works excellent,but i had to cut a notch in the flywheel cover about an inch from the original notch for the plug wire where it comes out of the cover,just extended the notch with a cut off wheel to accommodate the wire. the physical fit seems to be the only reason why ir would not work. I installed it, modded the cover and one pull she fired up! Was in stock and shipping from across the pond was wicked fast,thanks generator guru!

ive been trying to get a coil from the manufactor that builds this generator since the spring of 2014.They kept telling me that it was out of stock---going on line and finding generator guru, I was able to order it and received it in 7 business days...Although it cost more, at least you had it in stock and saved me a bunch of money by not havin to buy a new generator

My generator went down with no spark. Ordered this coil and when it came in, it was a perfect fit. Replaced the old coil and now it runs like new.
