*This generator has been supplied with different fitting depending on the year it was made. Be sure to order the correct one for your tank.*
Replacement Fuel Tap Petcock made of cast Aluminium for long life.You will need to choose the option above, to match the petcock you are replacing:
Male fixing- screws into the tank (fuel tank thread inside tank) then seals the O-Ring by tightening the secondary nut. Sometimes this can get broken off in the tank (see advice below). The Male also has a small nut at the top that is thinner than the 2 fixings on the on/off switch plate. Click on option above to see picture.
Female fixing- screws onto the tank (fuel tank thread protrudes from tank) using the large nut on the petcock to attach and seal the O-Ring. The female version had a large wide nut at the top, when undone, shows the tank has threads protruding from the tank. (This can be seen on the home screen of our video below.) This are a common item to need replacing due to the exposed location of the part. We often hear that something has knocked it, resulting in a leaky, or broken Fuel Tap Petcock.
If you have had a Male Petcock break off with the stem still in the tank, use a pair of needle nose pliers and insert into the stem. Open the pliers up, and unscrew. It should release without damaging the tank. Be careful not to damage the thread on the tank, or you will need to replace the whole tank.

After a few months of frustrating seaching for the original manufacturer/Canadian distributor of my generator. Quite by accident I found your web site.
From there on it was a fabulous trip. I ordered my part and it arrived almost before I signed off (Kidding) but it was fast. The only thing wrong was the length of the fuel pipe. (Too short) However my old one is good and I can use this for a drain hose when needed. Alls well that ends well. You are embedded on my desktop for possible future use. Thanks again for a fantastic service.

These guy are on it when it comes to parts. I have ordered three times from them and each time the parts came fast and where the right part. The last time i order i wasn't sure if i was ordering the correct part,so I call them the woman that I spoke with was very helpful in helping me with the order. I would not order from anyone else.
