The Fuel Tank Strainer fits under the fuel cap. It has a very fine weave and is used to strain the fuel you put in your tank, preventing the introduction of damaging particles to your engine.

This strainer had a slightly smaller collar which made it easy to install and remove without having some of the collar rub off on the edge of the gas tank.
