Over time these studs can get cross-threaded, or snap, leaving you unable to use your generator. If your carb is not mounted securely, or if the seal between your carburetor and engine is not air tight, this could affect the running of your generator as it will let too much air into the fuel mixture.

I am grateful to have found that your company stocks these seemingly indestructable carburetor studs. My generator arrived 2 years ago working, but hard starting and needing to be partly "choked" to run. Turns out that these carburetor studs had been broken during shipment, and were hardly attached to the engine. Eventually, following a long run, the entire carburetor and associated assembly fell off. Your company CARRIES these parts--- thank you for stocking items that likely rarely ever sell!
