  • Voltage: 12 Volts
  • Technology: AGM (This battery is factory sealed & charged. The battery is ready for use immediately upon arrival.)
  • Terminals: Positive Front Right right-post-battery.png (FYI, if the terminals are the wrong way around for your use, it is possible to fit batteries backwards in all portable generators and most small engines. To do this, remove the wiring from the engine body (-) and starter motor (+) when removing the original battery. Next, fit these wires to the new battery before placing the battery in the battery holder. Then proceed to wire back to the machinery as normal. See video below for more details on fitting a battery.)
  • Connection type: Box Terminal box-terminal.jpg
  • CCA (EN): 80 A (Strong enough to start all 80 - 220 cc / 2 - 7.5 hp small engines)
  • Capacity (C20): 4.2 Ah
  • Length: 114 mm
  • Width: 71 mm
  • Height inc. terminals: 106 mm
  • Guarantee: 1 Year

We also highly suggest:

1) you inspect the battery cables for damage

2) test your battery charging rectifier, to be sure this is not the reason for the failed battery. The charging output should be a max of 13.8 volts DC. Anything over 13.8v DC indicates you need to replace the "Battery Charging Rectifier" too. If you do not you will damage the replacement Battery.

Please find replacement Battery Charging Rectifiers and Battery Cables on the Make and Model listing for your Generator/Small Engine. These vary by manufacturer.

If the terminals are the wrong way around for your use, it is possible to fit batteries backwards in all portable generators and most small engines. To do this, remove the wiring from the engine body (-) and starter motor (+) when removing the original battery. Next, fit these wires to the new battery before placing the battery in the battery holder. Then proceed to wire back to the machinery as normal. See video below for more details on fitting a battery.)

If the Battery Tray is too small : It might be possible to bend the sides out, to make more room, and allow you to fit a larger battery.
