It is important to use the correct oil for your generator. Most car oils will damage your generator engine as the heat produced by a generator engine is not hot enough to thin the oil. ONLY USE THE CORRECT OIL!
- Oil type is Mineral/Non-Synthetic Oil, sometimes referred to as Classic Car Oil
- Use 10W40 when temperatures exceed 30°C,
10W30 for temperatures between 0° ~ 30°C, and
5W40 for temperatures below 0°C.
- Oil capacity is Metric Litre 0.6 (UK Imperial Gallon 0.13 / USA Metric Gallon 0.16)
