Designed for your Generator, this Carb will provide a tight fit, stable performance and is designed to give the correct fuel/air mixture to run your generator economically. Built with an aluminium casing for a long life. This replacement grade "A" Carb comes as a complete assembly (includes bowl, all inner workings etc.) The Carb is calibrated and ready to swap with your old carb. Just remove your old Carb and replace with the new one.

**We also strongly suggest you replace the Carb Gaskets when replacing the carb. If the previous gaskets are worn or split they will not make a seal, allowing excess air into the fuel mix, resulting in difficulty to start and run your engine. A broken gasket seal can cause hours of excess work.**

Generator Guru says:

Modern fuel has ethanol added. Ethanol is a cleaning agent used to "fill out" fuel and to reduce harmful emissions. The concentration of ethanol added to fuel can damage your carb if left for any length of time. Usually leaving a slimy residue in the bottom of the carb bowl, damaging seals and clogging the workings within the carb, preventing it from mixing the air and fuel correctly.

This is also a part that wears with use and usually is replaced after 3000-3500 hours. If you are replacing before this time, it could be because, either contaminated fuel has been used or the Generator was stored for a long period with fuel in the system and the ethanol has degraded the carb.

We also suggest you purchase a new Fuel Tank Strainer and inline Fuel Filter when replacing this product.

    What can i say.
Again these guys deliver bang on time. Carburetor is way better quality than original. Fit straight out the box. No having to set it up. Make sure you get new gaskets at time of ordering.
Was delivered next day. Amazing in these times.
My old generator has been kept going year on year because of the team at generator guru.
Where else can you get parts for those older generators.
    Keep up the good work.

    Carb problem solved

Posted by Shaun Hackett on 13th Nov 2016

Having left my generator, untouched for a couple of years, why was I surprised that the petrol had 'give off' and hellfire in the float bowl, needle valve and jets.
New carburetor from the Guru was cheap enough to not bother trying to sort out the old one. Bolted straight on, exactly the same as the old one and it was already tested and set up, ready to go.
Lesson learned, when not being used for a long period, drain the petrol from the generator . . ! !
