You will require a 10mm wrench for almost all these repairs, except the spark plug which requires a 21 mm socket wrench. See our Tools section.
When replacing Cylinder Head Parts, be sure to reset the valves! See this our video below on how to do this. You will need a Feeler Gauge for this. Your setting need to be set to:
Intake: 0.006" +/-0.002 (0.15mm +/-0.05)
Exhaust: 0.006" +/-0.002 (0.15mm +/-0.05) (Try the smallest setting first. If still not running right, change clearance to 0.008".)
(Keep a note of these setting with the generator!!)
If you wish to have parts to cover your alternator and fuel tank, may we suggest you also purchase a "Fuel Tap Petcock" and a Capacitor or AVR and Brushes (whichever is fitted to your model.) These are purchased separately and can vary between different manufacturing years, so it is best to be near your generator when order these other parts.
