This is a part that wears. It can wear out quicker if you have contaminated fuel that has been pulled through the system. We suggest when replacing this part to drain the fuel tank, and rinse in clean diesel (not water as this is a contaminant.) We also suggest you replace the Fuel Tank Filter and the Fuel Filter.

I was able to plug this unit in and it worked right away. Was also pleased to find this website that I had no idea existed.
The fuel pump supplied by generator guru was much more robust than the original part. They supplied it cheaper and quicker than from the official parts distributer in Portugal. This is a great service for expats like me:
Great product and service
I bought this along with a new injector as my son used dirty fuel in the Generator. When speaking to the G.Guru he said I only needed the injector and was right! I decided to buy both items as I didn't want to order twice. The guru very kindly offered to refund me for the part but I decided that the service was so good I would keep it. I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs a generator part.
